Today, we are excited to announce the launch of Nhóm cốt lõi's latest creative application, Fireside Forum, a truly Web3 social platform that promotes trustworthiness, constructive conversations, and online social interactions by integrating messaging code into the core of social interactions.

With Fireside Forum, millions of pioneers around the world can connect and interact in a sensitive and human-led environment with a newly designed messaging code system to both reward positive interactions and limit negative ones. This mechanism, powered by Pi cryptocurrency, allows our pioneers to manage content in a responsible way and provides our community with tools to manage the environment in a decentralized manner.

What is Fireside Forum doing differently?

Fireside Forum aims to address the issues of popular Web2 social networks by using blockchain technology to design the future of Web3 social experience.

The Pi Network believes that a truly Web3 social network should not just mimic Web2 products by storing something on the blockchain. Instead, it should strive to improve the shortcomings of many Web2 social networks, such as misinformation and disinformation, trolling, cyberbullying, information overload, low signal-to-noise ratio, information silos due to overuse of machine learning algorithms, etc.

From the Pi Network's perspective, there are three main aspects that Web3 is trying to improve and differentiate from Web2:

1. Giving users the power to own, store, and access their digital assets on the blockchain.

2. Allowing users to have control over their data.

3. Creating trust between users and the platform through transparency.

While most other Web3 projects differ from Web2 in the first aspect (e.g. allowing ownership, storage, and access of digital assets on the blockchain), Fireside Forum is differentiating itself in all three aspects.
